Here’s what a Writing Bravely session actually looks like

Hi friend,

I get it, signing up for something when you’re not sure what actually happens inside can feel like stepping into the dark.

So here’s a peek into a Writing Bravely session:

We start by settling in. A few deep breaths. A simple somatic practice to help your body realize, Oh… we’re safe here.

I’ll introduce the week’s theme, maybe it’s reclaiming your voice from shame, or naming the shape of your grief. We don’t just talk about it… we feel into it.

Then comes the writing.
I’ll give you prompts that are designed to bypass the “shoulds” and “I don’t knows” so your pen moves before your inner critic can catch up.
Some people write paragraphs. Some just write single, potent lines. Both are perfect.

We come back together and, if you want, you can share. No one critiques. No one “fixes.” We just witness.

We close with a reflection or grounding practice so you don’t leave cracked wide open, you leave grounded, lighter, and a little more yourself.

That’s what 90 minutes in Writing Bravely feels like.

If you’ve been wondering if it’s for you, maybe this helps you picture it. And maybe it’s time to step into the room.

📅 We start August 19

One small change: I’ll be switching from monthly to weekly emails. Rather than cramming everything into one long update, I’d rather send shorter, more focused notes that your (and my) nervous system can actually absorb. More steady touchpoints, less overwhelm :) Hi friend, Take a moment and ask yourself, “How does my anger materialize? Does it show up in small ways like… 😠 Snapping at coworkers?😖 Unfounded frustration at your partner?😞 Emotional shutdown because you’re just too overwhelmed?...

October Newsletter No Escape Hatch: How I Face What’s Still Alive Inside Me Hi friends~ Since returning home from my Somatic IFS Step 1 training, people keep asking me, “How was it?” It’s a simple question—but the answer isn’t. In therapy trainings, we’re not passive learners. We don’t sit at the edge of the work. We become the work. We step into the client role and meet whatever’s ready to surface. And what surfaced for me? Memories. The ones I thought I’d already “dealt with.”The ones I’m...

Your Fall Reset Fall Reset + a Touch of Magic 🌀 Hypno/Soundbath + Waterfront Retreat Somatic IFS retreat.
