“I’m not a writer” and other reasons people hesitate

Hi friend,

If you’ve been circling the idea of Writing Bravely but still haven’t signed up, I want to speak to the three things I hear most often:

1. “I’m not a writer.”
Perfect. You’re exactly who this is for.
Writing Bravely isn’t about polished essays or perfect grammar, it’s about showing up honestly. It’s about letting your voice be heard, especially the parts that haven’t had space before.

2. “I don’t have time.”
Totally fair. Life is full.
That’s why this course is paced for real people: 6 weeks, 90 minutes live each week, plus optional prompts and inspiration. And those 90 minutes? They’re a reset. A way to move some things out of your body and onto the page.

3. “I’m not ready to share my story.”
You never have to share more than what feels safe. You write what’s true for you in the moment. Some people share often, others just listen and write. Both are welcome.

If you’ve been feeling the pull, I’d love to see you in this round.

Your story doesn’t have to be finished to be powerful.
It just has to be yours.

More steady touchpoints, less overwhelm :) Hi friend, Take a moment and ask yourself, “How does my anger materialize? Does it show up in small ways like… 😠 Snapping at coworkers?😖 Unfounded frustration at your partner?😞 Emotional shutdown because you’re just too overwhelmed?...

October Newsletter No Escape Hatch: How I Face What’s Still Alive Inside Me Hi friends~ Since returning home from my Somatic IFS Step 1 training, people keep asking me, “How was it?” It’s a simple question—but the answer isn’t. In therapy trainings, we’re not passive learners. We don’t sit at the edge of the work. We become the work. We step into the client role and meet whatever’s ready to surface. And what surfaced for me? Memories. The ones I thought I’d already “dealt with.”The ones I’m...

Your Fall Reset Fall Reset + a Touch of Magic 🌀 Hypno/Soundbath + Waterfront Retreat Somatic IFS retreat. Walking the labyrinth Hi friends~ As the season shifts, it’s a powerful time to pause, reflect, and realign.
