Writing Bravely is back đź’›

Hi friend,

If you’re receiving this email, you’ve already done something brave.

You showed up. You picked up the pen. You wrote something you may not have known you needed to write. Maybe you shared it. Maybe you kept it entirely to yourself. Either way, you made space to listen to your own story.

And I’d love to invite you back.

Writing Bravely™ returns Saturday, September 19, from 12–4 PM in Richmond.

This next Writing Bravely experience will include guided expressive writing, reflection, and meaningful connection—with plenty of room to make the experience your own.

I’ll offer open-ended, IFS-informed questions and prompts, along with Inner Active Cards to help you explore whatever wants your attention. But here's the important part: you don't have to answer every question. You can follow a prompt, ignore it completely, take your writing somewhere unexpected, or choose what feels meaningful to you in the moment.

And sharing is always optional.

We’ll move between writing, reflection, conversation, and connection throughout the afternoon—so no, you won’t be writing for four hours straight. :)

Writing Bravely isn't about producing the “right” answer to a prompt. It's about creating enough space to hear what you have to say.

Come exactly as you are. Write what you want. Share what you want. Keep what you want for yourself.

You just need to show up curious about what might happen if you give yourself the afternoon to pause, write, reflect, connect, and listen to yourself a little differently.

And because you’ve been part of Writing Bravely before, you already know: sometimes the prompt you think you have nothing to say about is the one that opens something unexpected.

Saturday, September 19
12:00–4:00 PM | Richmond, VA
Early Bird: $129 through August 17

Regular price: $149 beginning August 18

If you’ve been thinking, I could use another afternoon like that, I’d love to have you back.

COME WRITE BRAVELY →

And if someone came to mind while you were reading this—a friend, sister, colleague, or fellow human who could use an afternoon to pause and reconnect with themselves—feel free to send this their way.

I hope I’ll see you in September.

With stories and compassion,
Adina

P.S. You don't have to know what you need to write about before you come. That's kind of the point. :)

What Nine Days Without a Laptop Looked Like I spent nine days in Utah without my laptop. What did that look like? It looked like sliding down a boulder and subsequently leaving some of my skin on sandstone. It looked like almost no decision fatigue—which, if you own a business, you know is very real. It looked like being in nature and mostly thinking about the next step. Literally. As in: Where do I put my foot so I don't fall off this damn mountain? It looked like getting lost in the best...
