What if therapy didn’t have to take YEARS?

"We're out of time."

Every single week, just as I was getting somewhere real in my own therapy, I'd hear those four words from my therapist.

Our session was over, and we wouldn't speak again until next week.

Even though I felt right on the edge of an emotional breakthrough.

Week after week, it became a frustrating pattern:

Start to open up → the clock runs out → leave before any real progress was made → spend the next week coping instead of healing.

Here's what I realized:

We weren't getting to the root of my issues. And we weren't going to—at least not when we were confined to just 50 minutes once a week.

Does this sound familiar?

I'm guessing it does.

Because here's what I see with so many of my creative clients:

From the outside, it looks like you've got it all handled. You're showing up for clients, meeting deadlines, getting the work done.

But internally, something's off, and your therapy sessions aren't quite helping.

You're making progress... but it's in tiny increments. And whatever insight you uncovered doesn't always stick when you're back in the grind.

Here's the truth: You're not the problem.

Traditional therapy sessions just don't always work well for creative minds who embrace non-linear thinking.

Instead of trying to fit your healing into a one-hour box, creatives need a flexible structure that honors your depth and complexity.

That's why I created Therapy Intensives for my own clients.

Unlike traditional 50-minute sessions, intensives allow you to stay in the work—to explore and dig beneath the surface to the root of your challenges.

Think of it as part mental health retreat, part breakthrough coaching session.

Here's how they work:

Intensives are concentrated, personalized, immersive therapy experiences that create space for real progress and personal growth.

They can last anywhere from 2 to 20 hours and can be done in one day or across multiple days.

They’re particularly effective for creatives navigating:

  • Imposter Syndrome
  • Chronic anxiety or overthinking
  • Perfectionism or procrastination
  • Creative blocks and performance pressure
  • Cycles of freeze or burnout
  • Recurring emotional patterns you can’t quite name

What would normally take months or even years of regular weekly sessions can be covered in just one single Therapy Intensive.

If you’re tired of feeling stuck or like traditional weekly therapy just isn’t moving fast enough, a Therapy Intensive will help you get the results you’ve been waiting for.

After all, your healing deserves the same freedom your creativity does – the allowance to be unhurried, immersive, and free to flow.

Hi friend, Do you feel like you’re constantly trying to mediate inner conflict? Maybe one part of you longs for connection, but another part distances you from others for fear of disappointment. Or one part of you might be begging you to slow down, but another says you can’t because you’ll lose momentum. The constant push and pull is exhausting and frustrating. But it’s not uncommon. That feeling of internal conflict or disagreement is a core concept in handling your parts with Internal...

Hi friend, Winter is my favorite season—not because of the cold, but because of the quiet. It’s the one time of year when the world slows down enough for me to fully inhabit my home, surrounded by good books and my favorite writing tools. I get to luxuriate in stillness. In reflection. In warmth. Lately, I’ve been aching for a creative ritual—something to help me return to the page. The last month and a half has been, frankly, a lot: family gatherings 500 miles away, speaking gigs, and a...

Hi friend, Singing carols, shared meals, shopping for gifts… These are all beloved hallmarks of the holiday season. But what is a happy time for many, can be a painful time for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. The lights may be bright, but to a grieving heart, everything feels dimmer. And when your grief is fresh, that contrast can feel even sharper. Although grief is universal, it’s not tidy. It doesn’t follow rules, and it certainly doesn’t pause for the holiday. If your heart is...
